ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR QUALITATIVE REAL-TIME MONITORING OF LASER WELDING PRACTICABLE FOR HEAT EXCHANGERS

Novelty: Arrangement and method for qualitative real-time monitoring of laser welding practicable for heat exchangers. Constitution: Optical arrangement (24) concentrating the radiation of the melted material and transmitting this last via optical fibre (25) to an electronic arrangement (26) where the modifications of the emission spectrum in precise regions are compared to qualitative rules determined by metallographic and mechanical assessment of welding prototypes; for improved welding results, the registered declinations constitutes a qualitative criterium for the valuation of the real-time welding quality and the potential automatic application of the laser beam.
