APPARATUS FOR EXTINGUISHING FOREST FIRE BY THE WATER TANK HANGING DOWN FROM THE HELICOPTER AND METHOD EXTINGUISHING FOREST FIRE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A forest fire extinguishing apparatus for days and nights using helicopters and a forest fire extinguishing method using the same are provided to prevent a water tank to falling sidewards even though no one takes care of ropes in the helicopters while filling up the water tank with water. CONSTITUTION: In a water tank(100), a plurality of loops for hanging on a helicopter is formed in the upper end square edge. A water pump(200) is installed in the lower part of the water tank. A water pipe is connected in the lower part of the water pump to bring the pumped water by the water pump inside both sides of the water tank. An opening/closing means is installed within the water tank to open and close a spillway punched in the lower part of both sides. An opening/closing driving motor is installed in the upper side of the water tank, and operates the opening/closing means.
