REFLECTIVE TYPE COLOR FILTER AND DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A reflective type color filter and a display device comprising the same are provided to increase the use time of the display device. CONSTITUTION: A photonic crystal layer(160) comprises a plurality of photonic crystal patterns which are formed on a transparent substrate(130). A photonic energy conversion element(110) is arranged facing the photonic crystal layer placing the transparent substrate in the middle. A barrier layer(150) is arranged between the transparent substrate and the photonic crystal layer. The photonic crystal pattern has a relatively high refractivity. The photonic crystal layer comprises a low refractive index layer(166) and the low refractive index layer covers the photonic crystal layer.
