Disclosed is a lubricant composition containing: a lubricant base oil which has a kinematic viscosity of 1 to 20mm2/s at 100°C; a friction modifier (A); a first overbased metal salt (B) which is obtained by over-basifying an oil-soluble metal salt with a boric acid salt of an alkali earth metal; and a second oil-soluble metal salt (C) which is obtained by over-basifying an oil-soluble metal salt with an alkali earth metal carbonate.
