Disclosed is a batting machine which enables to have communication with each other. Specifically disclosed is a batting machine (100) which is provided with: a pitching device (200) which is capable of a predetermined pitch of a ball with a predetermined speed into a strike zone and a ball zone that are pitching zones relating to the batter box of a user; a plurality of sensors (400); and an operation device (300) which controls the pitching device (200). The operation device (300) is provided with a pitching information obtaining means (315), a pitching device control means (325), and a batting information determination means (330). Then, the pitching information obtaining means (315) obtains the type of pitch, the speed of the pitched ball, and the pitching zone which are pitching information relating to the pitching device (200). The pitching device control means (325) controls the pitching device (200) on the basis of the pitching information. Furthermore, the batting information determination means (330) determines the result of user's batting on the basis of the sensors (400) and displays the result of the batting for the user. The batting machine (100) is characterized as mentioned above.
