<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to view a video with superimposition display and a video without the display in the same period by suppressing deterioration of viewing environment luminance and reducing flicker or blink, in a time division system video viewing device using shutter type eyeglasses. <P>SOLUTION: A difference video generation part 105 generates data on a first video for the whole screen of a video display part 107 and data on a second video to be displayed in a partial area of the screen in the time division system video viewing device which enables a user to view videos by using the shutter type eyeglasses 150. A control part A 110 controls shutter opening/closing operations of the shutter type eyeglasses 150 according to time division processing via a control signal communication part A 111 and a control signal communication part B 153. A shutter part 152 of the shutter type eyeglasses 150 is controlled to an open state in a display period of the first video, and the shutter part 152 is controlled to a closed state in a display period of the second video.
