<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a shift between optical axes generated in images captured by two cameras without moving each camera itself. <P>SOLUTION: A standard video signal and an enlarged region video signal are output to a display portion displaying an image thereon when camera heads 1a, 1b transmit the standard video signal in accordance with a predetermined transmission format with which the standard video signal and the enlarged region video signal are transmitted, and superimpose the enlarged region video signal on each of a vertical blanking interval and a horizontal blanking interval of the transmission format. A manipulating part 35 outputs a manipulation signal for adjusting a shift between optical axes of images captured by the camera heads 1a, 1b based on an image displayed on the display portion in accordance with the standard video signal. When a horizontal/vertical filter 34 adjusts the shift between the optical axes based on the manipulation signal, a region of the standard video signal is moved to correspond to the shift between the optical axes within a range of the enlarged region video signal, the standard video signal corresponding to the movement is extracted from the enlarged region video signal contained in a range of the movement, and the standard video signal thus extracted is output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
