PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making machine capable of changing a cycle of a draining time of ice making water. SOLUTION: This drum type ice making machine 101 includes an ice making water tank 1 for storing the ice making water to produce ice. Further this drum type ice making machine 101 includes a drain valve 16 for draining the ice making water stored in the ice making water tank 1, a control device 10a for draining the stored ice making water by periodically operating the drain valve 16, a draining time change mode control means 11a for controlling a draining time changing mode for changing the cycle of the draining time when the control device 10a allows the drain valve 16 to drain the water, and an ice making switch 62, a stop switch 63, an option switch 65 and a set switch 66 for operating the draining time changing mode control means 11a.
