<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prism sheet capable of controlling effectively deterioration of color reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The prism sheet 60 has a body part 65 and a plurality of linear unit prisms 70 arranged in a row on the incidence side of the body part. Each of unit prisms has a first surface 71 and a second surface 72. When the tangent angle at the position reaching on the second surface of one unit prism of light, which is incident on the one unit prism through the first surface taking an optical path in contact with the one unit prism and the adjoining other unit prism, out of the light advancing toward one of unit prism inclined at α° to the normal direction of the body part, is θ<SB>α</SB>and the tangent angle at the end part of the second surface 72 on the top part 75 side is θ<SB>e</SB>, a formula: θ<SB>e</SB>-θ<SB>80</SB>>θ<SB>80</SB>-θ<SB>70</SB>is satisfied.
