<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink for inkjet recording excellent in its fastness and capable of ejecting ink stably by acting thermal energy. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the ink for inkjet recording for use in an inkjet recording method, wherein the ink is ejected from a recording head by acting thermal energy and includes water, a self-dispersing pigment, and two or more types of resin particles. When one of the two or more types of resin particles is a resin particle A and the other(s) thereof is a resin particle B, the resin particles A and B have an average particle size of 80-220 nm and an acid value of 25-150 mgKOH/g. The resin particle A has a glass transition temperature of ≤25°C and the resin particle B has a glass transition temperature of ≥25°C.
