PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system capable of immediately using an elevator after a registered person, who registered a call from a distance, arrived a landing even if there are other users in the landing. SOLUTION: An elevator car 3 is provided with an informing device and an operating panel 6, and further includes: a data transmitting/receiving device 8 for transmitting/receiving the portable terminal data from a portable terminal 1; and a control device 2 for controlling the car 3 and the informing device based on a call registered based on the portable terminal data received by the data transmitting/receiving device 8 and a call registered from the operating panel 6. The control device 2, in the case wherein a call is registered based on the portable terminal data, makes the car 3 wait in the landing in the state of opening doors during the time till the registered person, who registered the call, arrives the car 3 even if a call is registered from the operating panel 6, and makes the informing device inform that the car 3 is waiting in the state of opening the doors.
