<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a printer which can print a job generated by a generic driver cannot be specified by its driver name in a system allowing the start of printing to be instructed from the outside after storing the job in a server. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided for storing, in a storage means, the job generated by the generic driver corresponding to a plurality of device-type printers, and a job generated by a specific driver corresponding to a specific printer, and carrying out print processing of the stored jobs according to a print request. The system specifies the device type of the printer which can print the job generated by the generic driver and stored in the storage means, and carries out print processing of the job generated by the generic driver, in the printer corresponding to the specified device type according to the print request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
