The method involves coding a luminous element based on a transmitter. Codes are transmitted to the element over radio signals on the basis of a code i.e. random code, generated by the transmitter. The element is coded using the radio signals, where the coded element is actuated on the basis the transmitter. The element is blocked and/or unblocked based on the transmitter using the radio signals, where the blocked element is not coded and the unblocked element is coded. The coded element is actuated based on the transmitter using switching and/or control signals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a radio remote controller system comprising one device for controlling a luminous element over a radio interface based on a transmitter (2) a vehicle comprising a radio interface.
