<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearing article allowing creases formed in the front and rear waistline regions to be easily smoothed. <P>SOLUTION: The diaper 10 includes front and rear waist members 20 and 30, and a crotch member 40 connecting the front and rear waist members 20 and 30. The front and rear waist members 20 and 30 extend toward a crotch region 13 from waist end edges 22 and 32, and include first regions 71 to be layered on front and rear flaps 46 and 47 and second regions 72 adjacent to the first regions 71. The front and rear waist members 20 and 30 have a first waist elastic body 81 and a second waist elastic body 82 attached to the first region 17 and the second region 72 respectively between inner and outer surface sheets 24 and 25 or 34 and 35. A non-elastic region 72a layered on a core 42 and an elastic region 72b located outside of the non-elastic region 72a in the lateral direction are formed in the second region 72.
