<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intruder detection device and an intruder detection method, allowing improvement of accuracy of detection of an intruder into a target range. <P>SOLUTION: This intruder detection device includes: a transmission part generating a transmission signal from a reference signal and a local signal having a plurality of different frequencies output from a local oscillation part, and supplying it to a transmitting antenna; a reception part receiving a reflected wave to the transmission signal output to the target range, mixing it with the local signal, and extracting a reception signal; a control part controlling a change of the frequency of the local signal output from the local oscillation part, timing to output the local signal to the transmission part, and timing to output the local signal to the reception part; a measurement part measuring a reception level of the reception signal extracted by the reception part; and a decision part adding an absolute value of a difference between a reception level that is a reference and the reception level measured in each frequency of the local signal when monitoring the target range, and deciding that the intruder is present in the target range when an addition value exceeds a threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
