PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning device which optimizes the diameters of beams with respect to a plurality of beam wavelengths by means of a single aperture without a cost increase. SOLUTION: The optical scanning device includes: a laser diode (light source); a polygon mirror (deflector) which deflects light beams emitted from the laser diode; an aperture having an aperture diaphragm which throttles the light beams in an optical path between the polygon mirror and the laser diode; and an fθlens which makes the light beams, which are deflected by the polygon mirror, form images on a scanning-object face at an equal speed. In the optical scanning device, an aperture 29, which has the aperture diaphragm 29a which is optimum in size to the light beam having the longest wavelength which is emitted from the laser diode, is formed unitary with a housing 19, and a slit 30 having an aperture diaphragm 30a of different size is removably mounted on the aperture 29.
