The present invention provides a method and system for the multiplex and the resource indication of the multicast broadcast service zone, maps the discrete resource blocks in one or more frequency segments to continuous logical resource units for the resource indication of the frequency division multiplexing, and gives two indication modes, namely the resource index information and the bitmap information, and two mapping modes. In the present invention, a control station transmits the resource indication information of one or more multicast broadcast service zones to a terminal. According to the obtained resource indication information, the terminal obtains, according to the resource indication information or the bitmap information, the position information of the resource zone of the multicast broadcast service to be received in accordance with the mapping relationship, further obtains the corresponding control and resource mapping information of the multicast broadcast service, receives and decodes the multicast broadcast service to be received. The present invention can ensure effectively the correctness of the resource dividing indication of the multicast broadcast service zone and reduce the overhead of the system.
