The system has a holder (1) fastened to a suction pipe or suction hose of a vacuum cleaner and comprising a hollow-cylindrical retaining part (2) for accommodating an accessory part of the vacuum cleaner in a movable or pivotable manner. The retaining part has three fin-shaped projections (8) in an area of an inner shell surface (7). The projections are engaged into recesses of the accessory part when the accessory part is accommodated in the retaining part, where the projections produce a form or force-fit connection between the holder and the accessory part in an area of the recesses.
