<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional light-emitting device is used for an artificial flower only in order to make a light-emitting type flower and a fresh flower cannot be used for the light-emitting type flower. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 100 for display illumination is provided with a cylindrical body 2 mounted to an LED 1, a columnar trapezoid-shaped fixing section 4 arranged at an end of the body and fixing an optical fiber 3 in the center of the body 2, an optical fiber 3 extended from the center of the fixing section 4, and a colored cap 5 mounted to the tip of the optical fiber 3 and made translucent. The tip 3a of the optical fiber 3 is inserted from a receptacle of a tulip, and the designated cap 5 is mounted to the tip 3a of the optical fiber 3. When the LED 1 is turned on, the light of the LED 1 is emitted from the tip 3a of the optical fiber 3 located in a flower through the optical fiber 3, and diffused in surroundings by the cap 5.
