<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction control device inhibiting deterioration of a catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The traction control device 18 includes a condition determination part 46 and a traction control part 47. The condition determination part 46 determines whether or not the spin monitoring value calculated by a monitoring value calculation part 45 meets a spin condition. The traction control part 47, when the spin condition is met, performs traction control for reducing the driving force of a driving wheel by respectively controlling ignition and misfire of four cylinders. The traction control part 47 determines the cylinders to misfire based on a predetermined control rule when the traction control.
