Subject: engine and method using the water of rivers and the properties of liquids for generating electric current. Constitution: two big-sized water cisterns A, B adequately placed under a water tank 52 (aside, underneath or in a convenient position as to the river 50 or the dam &Sgr;5, in conformity to the morphology of the ground) and alternatively oscillating with movements controlled by pneumatic and hydraulic automatisms, oscillation being conducted by steady vertical beams 13; the water force of the cisterns compresses the mineral oil into the hydraulic cylinders 3 at the rods of the pistons 12. The pressurized oil conveys the force of the water weight through other accessories and piping to hydraulic engines or motors 24 which convert the oil pressure into torque force as to the shaft. The torque is conveyed via an ordinary motion transmission system (gear box 25, hydraulic clutch etc) to one or several power-generation pairs 26. The ascending of the void cisterns A and B being replenished with water from the water tank 5 is obtained by the low pressure of the oil 22 returning from the tank 28 and via pneumatic cylinders fed with pressurized air produced by an air-compressor working by current produced by the system. |
