SUSPENSION CONTROLLER DIAGNOSTIC METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension controller diagnostic method for diagnosing soundness of a system including a feedback control means. SOLUTION: The suspension controller diagnostic method includes: changing a target value (excitation command) used for feedback control by a predetermined pattern (sine wave) in states where a damping coefficient of a hydraulic damper 7 is "high" and "low" (step S3); measuring a thrust command value StB is measured in each state (steps S5, S11); obtaining the maximum thrust command values StC, StD when the damping coefficient is high and low (steps S7, S13); and diagnosing the operation by comparing an absolute value ¾StD-StC¾ with a predetermined determination value (step S17).
