PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage relay improved in airtight structure, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The high voltage relay comprises a molded case 1 formed by casting in a box shape from synthetic resin having electric insulation performance, an actuator 2 housed in the molded case 1, and an arc extinguishing mechanism 3 in which a fixed electrode 3a is embedded and which is arranged on the actuator 2 so as to cover an opening of the molded case 1 and has a gas discharging port 3b which is blocked when a thermosetting resin coated on an upper part for air-tightening is cured.
