PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear toner giving a uniform glossy surface without unevenness after supplied to an image support body and giving printed matters showing no damage in the beautiful appearance even when fingerprints remain on the glossy surface. SOLUTION: The clear toner contains a resin composed of a polymer formed by employing at least a polymerizable monomer containing a carboxylic group (-COOH), wherein the proportion of the polymerizable monomer having the carboxyl group constituting the polymer is 15 mass% or more.
