PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture capable of fastening a master side sheet metal easily with a slave side sheet metal and unfastening the two from each other easily, and provide methods of fastening and unfastening. SOLUTION: In the condition that the fixture 1 is inserted through prepared holes 8 and 10 formed in two sheet metals 7 and 9, a driving rod is pressed (for example, by a press) in the C-direction to a body hole 2 in the fixture 1 to cause folds 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d of the fixture 1 to be pushed open in the direction of opening from the center of the circle of the body 2 and folded, and fastening is established to the periphery of the prepared hole 10 in the sheet metal 9. Unfastening is made through such procedures that a push-out rod is inserted into a body hole 4 from the tip and pressed from the C-direction, and thus the folds 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d of the fixture 1 fastened to the peripheral surface of the prepared hole 10 in the sheet metal 9 are put free from the periphery of the prepared hole 10 in the sheet metal 9.
