PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection apparatus that prevents a support surface for supporting a target from being deteriorated by UV ray emitted form a UV ray lamp. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer includes: a print head that ejects ink of UV curability on a printing sheet 12 supported on the support surface 19a; a high-pressure mercury lamp 32 that irradiates the ink ejected on the printing sheet from the record head with the UV ray. Moreover, the high-pressure mercury lamp 32 is emitted by discharge between facing electrodes at an interval corresponding to the width of the printing sheet 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
