The present invention relates to a support ( 12, 48 ) for a motor vehicle light unit ( 10 ), enabling said light unit ( 10 ) to be mounted displaceably on an equipment module ( 14, 54, 56 ). The support includes guide means ( 16, 50, 52 ) for guiding the light unit ( 10 ) along a predetermined path (Y) relative to the equipment module ( 14, 54, 56 ).
