The shoe (1) has a front wall (5) lying close to a hoof in a mounted state of the shoe, and a clamping arrangement (8) for fastening of the shoe at the hoof. The clamping arrangement has two wedge members (14) arranged at two opposite side regions of the shoe. The wedge members are slidingly arranged in corresponding recesses such that the wedge members are moved towards the front wall for fixing the shoe at the hoof by the clamping arrangement and wedge members. A base part (3) is formed as a metallic horseshoe.
