<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, which can switch a computer operation environment in a short time while maintaining an operation state. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus having suspend/resume function includes a control means which limits the data transfer rate of a bus which can transfer data at a first data transfer rate or a second data transfer rate lower than the first data transfer rate to the second data transfer rate; and a setting means which can cause, in accordance with shift from a state for operating by externally input power to a state for operating by the power from a battery, the control means to shift the information processing apparatus to a suspending state for limiting the data transfer rate of the bus and also to immediately resume the information processing apparatus from the suspending state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
