METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NOTIFYING CARRIER INDICATION INFORMATION AND ACQUIRING CARRIER INFORMATION

A method for notifying carrier information in a Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) system is used for notifying a terminal of the carrier information of the carriers allocated for it, especially the corresponding relationship between the carriers and the carrier indication information, under cross carrier scheduling in a multi-carrier system. The method includes the following steps: the terminal receives the carrier information of the newly assigned carriers, which is transmitted by a base station, when the base station assigns additional new carriers for the terminal; the terminal determines the newly assigned carriers according to the received carrier information. The present invention also discloses apparatus for implementing said method.
