PURPOSE: A solar light electricity generating device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to insulate a side of a light absorbing unit by a barrier film and prevent leaked currents by a side of the light absorbing unit, thereby reducing leaked currents. CONSTITUTION: A first rear electrode(200) is arranged on a support substrate(100). A light absorbing unit(310) is arranged on the first rear electrode. A high resistance buffer is arranged on the light absorbing layer. A barrier film(333) is expanded from the high resistance buffer and is formed on a side of the light absorbing unit.
