PURPOSE: A method for desulfuring during pre-treatment of pig iron using byproducts of steel making is provided to accelerate reaction by putting CaO in liquid slag and easily collect CaS produced during desulfulization. CONSTITUTION: A method for desulfuring during pre-treatment of pig iron using byproducts of steel making is as follows. CaO(1) of 30~45wt% and SiO2 of 5~15w% are included in solidified PS(Precious Slag) balls(2) obtained from steel making byproducts. The injection amount of the solidified PS balls is determined and the solidified PS balls excluding fluorite are put into pig iron during the desulfurization. |
