A method for delimiting a section of a railway to enable operating restrictions to be performed at the section, comprising the steps of:
providing a plurality of wireless communications tags at intervals along the railway;
providing a portable, wireless terminal comprising wireless tag communication means; and
delimiting a section boundary by enabling communication between the portable terminal and a wireless communication tag, the position of said tag denoting the section boundary. |
