A SCRIBING APPARATUS INCLUDING CHIP PRE-PROCESSING UNIT, AND THE SCRIBING METHOD

PURPOSE: A scribing apparatus including a chip pre-processor and a scribing method using the same are provided to completely eliminate chips from the surface of glass panels in a subsequent washing process by interposing a chip pre-processing agent between the glass panels and the chips. CONSTITUTION: A scribing apparatus includes a scribing head(6), a wheel holder(29), a scribing wheel(2), and a chip pre-processor. The chip pre-processor supplies a chip pre-processor on the surface of a glass panel(1) at the front side of the driving direction of the scribing wheel with respect to the glass panel. The chip pre-processor includes a nozzle(11) and a pressure controlling unit controlling a pressure applied to a chip pre-processing agent. The chip pre-processing agent is surfactant.
