PURPOSE: An image processing device is provided to prevent the generation of a high frequency noise in an image regardless of a distance from a subject. CONSTITUTION: A lens unit(10) receives the light of a subject. A distance detection unit(20) senses a distance between the subject and the lens unit. An image sensor(30) changes the light of the lens unit into RGB video data. An edge detector(41) detects the RGB edge region of the RGB video data. A correction constant varying unit(42) varies RGB correction constants applied to the RGB edge region in correspondence with the distance of the distance sensing unit. An edge emphasizing unit(43) corrects the RGB edge region with the RGB correction constant and creates RGB correction data in which the edge is emphasized.
