PURPOSE: A composition for eliminating phosphorus is provided to improve the efficiency of a phosphorus eliminating process by being directly applied to target waste water without a separate facility such as an absorbing tower. CONSTITUTION: A composition for eliminating phosphorus includes zirconium oxychloride as an effective component. The composition is an aqueous composition. An inorganic coagulating agent is further included in the composition and is selected from a group including iron salt-based and aluminum salt-based inorganic coagulating agents. The content ratio of the zirconium oxychloride and the inorganic coagulating agent is between 9.3 : 0.7 and 9.7 : 0.3, based on the weight ratio of both components.
