<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for properly associating line segments between images when there is a similar line segment on an image or even when many line segments are located on an image. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes: an input means for inputting images obtained by imaging a target object from different positions and directions; a detection means detecting the line segments each indicating the target object from each of the plurality of images input by the input means; a characteristic derivation means for determining a characteristic vector used for identifying each line segment detected by the detection means; and a determination means determining the association of the line segments between the plurality of images, based on the characteristic vector obtained by the characteristic derivation means. The characteristic derivation means sets a reference line passing the line segment detected by the detection means along a direction not parallel to the line segment, and obtains the characteristic vector including information wherein luminance information of a pixel having a changed luminance on the reference line is arranged in the order thereof as an element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
