PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for an inkjet recording head preventing the life thereof from becoming short, and also, preventing individual electrode wires adjacent to each other from being short-circuited, due to heater disconnection, and to provide a recording head and a recording apparatus. SOLUTION: The surface facing a heat generation part 12, of individual electrode wires, and both side surfaces of the individual electrode wires are covered with a barrier metal 15b. Regarding the individual wires 15, the cross-section perpendicular to the extending direction of the individual wire is rectangular, and the top surface facing the electrothermal converter, of the individual electrode wire, and the both side surfaces continued from the top surface of the individual electrode wire are covered with the metal whose melting point at 1 atm. is≥1500°C.
