PURPOSE: A polyacrylonitrile carbon fiber manufacturing method is provided to remove all kinds of deformities of the carbon fiber by providing precursor fiber, from which the foreign material is completely removed, in the chlorination step. CONSTITUTION: The polyacrylonitrile carbon fiber manufacturing method is as follows. A dope is manufactured by using a polyacrylonitrilepolymeric composition. A PAN-based precursor fiber emits dope in a wet or dry and wet mode. A flame resisting treatment processes the precursor fiber. A carbonized processes carbonate the chlorination processed fiber. The polyacrylonitrilepolymeric composition includes more than 95wt% of acrylonitrile and less than 5% of comonomer.
