PURPOSE: A binder composition is provided to shorten debinding time to the half or less and to reduce collapse, swelling, deformation, and separation of injection molded articles caused by sudden pyrolysis. CONSTITUTION: A binder composition for metal injection molding includes (A) 10-50 weight% of a composite resin containing polyacetal, (B) 20-60 weight% of paraffin wax, (C) 1-20 weight% of carnauba wax, (D) 1-20 weight% of amorphous poly(alpha-olefin), and (E) 10-30 weight% of propylene-based polymer. The composite resin comprises linear low-density polyethylene and styrene-based resin. The paraffin wax has a melting point of 45-65 °C and the carnauba wax has a melting point of 60-90 °C.
