摘要 |
PURPOSE: A plasma fuel reformer is provided to maximize the production of hydrogen for reducing nitrogen oxide contained in exhaust gas by increasing a space and contact time for reforming reaction of hydrocarbon fuel and air. CONSTITUTION: A plasma fuel reformer comprises: a reaction chamber having a closed inside space; an air supply unit(120) injecting air to the inside space of the reaction chamber; a ground electrode unit(130) mounted into the inside space and having an inward concave side(131) to have a separation prevention projection(132) for cutting off the separation of hydrocarbon fuel supplied; a fuel and high voltage supply unit provided with a fuel supply hole(141) to supply hydrocarbon fuel to one side of the ground electrode unit and discharged by a potential difference with the ground electrode unit to form a plasma arc; and a discharge port discharging synthetic gas produced by the reforming reaction of air and hydrocarbon fuel.
