PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing the scattering of sludge discharges and capable or preventing sludge discharges adhering to wires to the surroundings. SOLUTION: The device for preventing the scattering of sludge discharges has a bellows-like wire-surrounding tube body 22. The wire-surrounding tube body 22 has a prescribed internal space suspended in such a way as to be freely elevated and lowered from a suspending-section suspension wire 6 suspended from the upper end of a column section 3 of a crawler crane 2. A tool suspension wire 5 is vertically passed through the internal space to control the scattering of adhering sludge discharges into the internal space when the tool suspension wire 5 is lowered.
