PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in fuel consumption of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A belt-type continuously variable transmission comprises a primary shaft which is input by the rotation extracted from the internal combustion engine and rotates around a rotary shaft, a primary stationary sieve mounted on the primary shaft, a primary movable sieve mounted on the primary shaft opposite to the primary stationary sieve and moving on the primary shaft in the direction of the rotary shaft, a primary pulley hydraulic chamber for applying force to the primary movable sieve by pressure of fluid oil, and a fluid oil confining device for preventing the fluid oil from being discharged from the primary pulley chamber outside of the primary pulley hydraulic chamber when the change gear ratio is the minimum value.
