PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discharge and remove a jammed bill by a simple structure, in an automated teller machine 1 including a temporary accumulation unit for temporarily accumulating and then carrying out a bill. SOLUTION: The automated teller machine 1 includes a temporary accumulation unit 30 which carries a bill 7a by a carrying roller section 40, temporarily holds it on a drum 60, and delivers the bill 7b from the drum 60 to discharge it through the carrying roller section 40. The device further includes an operation knob 100 which is pushed into between a gear 65 for rotating the drum 60 and a gear 47 for rotating the carrying roller unit 40, to simultaneously rotate the gears.
