Disclosed is a coin dispenser (26) that uses a rotating disc (41) that rotates in an inclined state, and which is provided with a removal protrusion (59), for removing small-diameter coins, between a dispensing protrusion (52) installed on a surface (41a) of the rotating disc (41) and a coin supporting section (53). The removal protrusion (59) is arranged so that, when a coin (C) having a diameter that is the lower-limit of the range of coins subject to handling comes in contact with the dispensing protrusion (52) and the coin supporting section (53), the removal protrusion (59) will be positioned slightly outside the outer circumference of the coin (C). The side face of the removal protrusion (59) is inclined with respect to the surface of the rotating disc (41), and when a coin runs up onto the inclining face of this removal protrusion (59), the coil will depart from the surface (41a) of the rotating disc (41), and fall off. Since a coin (C1) smaller than the lower-limit value of the range of coins subject to handling will run up onto the removal protrusion (59), the coin (C1) will fall off the surface (41a) of the rotating disc (41), and be removed. |
