PURPOSE: A sub array device of LEDs for a backlight unit is provided to prevent the generation of color deviation between sub arrays. CONSTITUTION: A sub array device of LEDs for a backlight unit comprises an edge type backlight unit which is placed on the side of a light guide plate, a first sub array which includes first LEDs generating target color light, and a second sub array which includes second LEDs. The first sub array and the second sub array are placed adjacent to each other.
