<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately cancel even torque variation of an image carrier due to a shock which can not be accurately canceled in the conventional control method, while suppressing an increase of energy consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A braking device 209 is provided in a secondary transfer counter roller 9 present on a drive transmission path on an intermediate transfer body side of reduction gear mechanisms 204 and 205 which impart the weakest spring characteristic, that is, spring characteristic most largely influencing a drive transmission system out of a drive transmission member provided on a drive transmission path to an intermediate transfer body 6. Disturbanceτr is estimated by continuously sampling parameters for estimation Im(i-1),ωm(i-1),ωr(i-1) for estimating drive load torque variation amount (disturbance)τr of the intermediate transfer body varied when transfer paper advances into a transfer nip, and braking force imparted by the braking device 209 is controlled to negate the estimated disturbanceτr. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
