PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply hot water by utilizing exhaust heat and to operate a refrigerating cycle with high efficiency, in a refrigerating apparatus which includes a so-called split cycle device and obtains a supercritical pressure on a high pressure side. SOLUTION: This refrigerating apparatus R which includes the so-called split cycle device and obtains the supercritical pressure on the high pressure side, includes an exhaust heat recovery heat exchanger 70 including an exhaust heat recovering medium flow channel 70B and a refrigerant flow channel 70A, and a second refrigerant flow (main refrigerant flow toward evaporator) flowing out from a gas cooler 46 before entering an intermediate heat exchanger 80 constituting the split cycle device, is allowed to flow to the refrigerant flow channel 70A of the exhaust heat recovery heat exchanger 70.
