BIODIESEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing biodiesel is provided to cheaply produce biodiesel using microalgae which is able to grow in a small space regardless of climate condition or environment. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing biodiesel comprises: a step of pretreatment of a biomass by removing chlorophyll and cell wall from concentrated micro algae; a step of isolating bio oil from the biomass; a step of esterifying the bio oil using alcohol under the presence of acid catalyst and isolating deoxidized bio oil; a step of performing transition esterification of deoxidized bio oil to isolating unpurified bio diesel; and a step of removing impurities from the unpurified bio diesel to synthesize bio diesel. The micro algae are Tetraselmis Suecica. The acid catalyst is sulfuric acid.
