<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide fastener in which decorative members such as decorative beads or stones, which are protruded from a fastener tape are hard to be damaged or injured in use of the slide fastener. <P>SOLUTION: The slide fastener (1), comprising two adjacent stringers (2), each including a fastener tape (3) which has outer and inner longitudinal edge portions (3a, 3b) and an intermediate portion (3c) between the outer and inner longitudinal edge portions and carrying respective coupling elements (4) provided in the fastener tape (3), each stringer (2) being provided with a plurality of decorative members (6) such as decorative beads. When the decorative members (6) are applied to the outside surface of the fastener tape (3) of the stringer (2), a carrier tape (8) is removably applied to upper surfaces of the decorative members (6), an adhesive layer (7) and a protective, detachable cover tape (9) are applied on a lower surface (6a) of each decorative members (6), and the decorative members (6) are affixed to the outside surface of the fastener tape (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
